u2-web, LLC's Linux shared use the latest industry standards. Our servers run anti-virus/anti-malware scanners with the latest known threats. Our web server uses CLoudLinux with isolation options. CloudLinux prevents hogging of resources by a single account, which prevents server neighbors from interrupting your site.

We all like easy decisions and having options. With our Shared Linux services, you sign-up for one plan and add on disk space and/or monthly traffic as you need them or allow our system to do so for you. No more debating on which plan is best for your site. There are no other set limits that are charged.
Web, MySQL and Mail services are separated to their own physical servers. With clustered services, each service receives more resources (CPU, RAM, IO, etc) than they would have on a single-server-all-services server.
In the unlikely event of an outage of one server, other services are generally not affected. If the web server goes out, the mail server is still responding and delivering mail. In some cases, the services may be separated by geographic locations.
1 GB equals 1024 MB. Limits can be increased via the control panel. Due to file system block sizes, actual usage may vary depending server.
Dedicated IPs must comply with RFC2050 and ARIN policies -- generally dedicated IPs are for SSL certificates. Dedicated IPs are available at an additional fee.
