Enterprise Grade Anti-Spam by Mailfoundry

u2-web, LLC is proud to announce the availability of an enterprise grade anti-spam appliance called MailFoundry. It is an advanced alternative to our standard anti-spam offerings. MailFoundry adapts to new spam attacks and is updated constantly with new spam profiles. Standard anti-spam filters are updated throughout the day. MailFoundry uses spam profiles to identify and filter spam from good messages. It protects against the latest viruses and as it updates throughout the day, it protects against the newest virus threats.

MailFoundry has a very low false positive rate. Even If it does tag a message as spam, you will receive a digest each day where you can tell MailFoundry that the message isn’t spam. You can elect to not receive the digest also via the MailFoundry control panel. The MailFoundry control panel allows you to control other settings such as whitelists, address filters, domain filters, message filters, and stats on how much spam has been filtered and allowed through as well as what type of filter was used.

MailFoundry is currently being offered by us a low price of $3 per domain per month. MailFoundry themselves sales this for $0.99 per mailbox and you need to purchase 10 mailboxes at a minimum -- $9.90 a month. Imagine if you have 20, 30, or more mailboxes to protect.

Enabling and logging in to Mailfoundry’s control panel can be done via the Account Portal --> Mail Info menu --> MailFoundry . Click the “off” button to make it turned on. Incoming mail will start going through MailFoundry within 24 hours, as the MX (a DNS mail record that tells the Internet where to send mail) needs to propagate throughout the Internet. It can also take a little longer to see a reduction in spam depending on how long spammers keep the old record. Once you have MailFoundry enabled and if you receive spam you can help everyone else by forwarding that spam to spam@mailfoundry.com so they can update their profiles and distribute them to everyone.
